Final Drive to Transmission Gasket – A couple
of years ago if you ordered this gasket from one of our major local
parts houses you would get a final drive cover gasket. This would
happen even when ordering by part number. I had to go directly to
Felpro to get the correct gasket. These gaskets are very flimsy
and are no match for the small stud that sticks out on the left side of
the transmission so I would recommend ordering a spare.
To ensure a good seal, coat the gasket with
Permatex Aviation FORM-A-GASKET Item 80019.
